1. General betting requirements

PlayCroco provides wagering services subject to applicable laws, these betting rules and the information displayed on the relevant product or betting screen. The available products, markets, events, payment methods and account features may change from time to time. Some products may not be available to every customer or in every location. You should check the information presented to you before proceeding with any transaction.

Table of contents

You must be legally entitled to use online gambling services in your location and must meet any applicable age requirement. You are responsible for checking that online betting is lawful for you before opening an account or placing a wager. PlayCroco may apply location, identity, age, account or eligibility checks where required by law, our policies or the operation of the service.

An account must be used only by the person to whom it is registered. You must provide information that is accurate, complete and current, and you must update it when circumstances change. You must protect your login details and should not allow another person to access or use your account. You remain responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you have promptly reported suspected unauthorised access.

  • Do not open or operate an account on behalf of another person.
  • Do not use another person’s payment method without proper authorisation.
  • Do not attempt to bypass account, location, identity or responsible gambling controls.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering or any other prohibited purpose.
  • Do not place bets while impaired or when you are unable to make a clear and informed decision.

PlayCroco may refuse, restrict, suspend or close an account where there is a legal, security, operational or responsible gambling reason to do so. Where a restriction affects a pending bet or account balance, the outcome will be handled in accordance with the applicable terms, the relevant product rules and any legal obligations.

2. Placing and confirming a bet

Checking your selection

Before submitting a bet, check the event, market, selection, odds or price, stake, potential return and any other information shown on the bet slip. You are responsible for confirming that the details are correct. A bet is not necessarily accepted merely because a selection has been added to a bet slip. The bet becomes effective only when it has been successfully submitted and accepted by the platform.

The platform may display an acceptance message, reference or other confirmation after a successful transaction. You should keep a record of that information. If no confirmation is displayed, do not assume that a bet has been accepted. Check your account history or betting record before attempting to submit the same bet again.

Odds, prices and stakes

Odds and prices may change before a bet is accepted. Where the platform identifies a change, you may be asked to confirm the updated price or the bet may be declined. The price that applies is the price confirmed at the time of acceptance, subject to the relevant market rules and any correction of an obvious or technical error.

Minimum and maximum stakes, maximum returns, bet types and other limits may apply to particular products, markets, accounts or transactions. Any applicable limit should be shown on the relevant page or communicated through the service. A displayed limit may be changed where permitted, and a bet may be rejected or reduced if it exceeds an applicable limit.

  1. Choose the product, event or game and review the available market.
  2. Select the outcome or betting option you wish to support.
  3. Enter or confirm your stake and review the displayed information.
  4. Check any terms, restrictions, closing time or special conditions.
  5. Submit the bet and wait for acceptance before treating it as active.
  6. Review your betting history to confirm the final details.

Once a bet has been accepted, it generally cannot be changed or cancelled by the customer unless a cancellation or cash-out feature is expressly made available for that product. Any available feature is subject to its own conditions and may not remain available at all times. A request to cancel a transaction does not itself cancel an accepted bet.

3. Events, markets and settlement

Event information and market status

Event times, participant names, market descriptions, statistics and other information are provided to help you make a selection. This information may be supplied by third parties and may contain delays or errors. You should not rely on a display as a guarantee that an event will proceed exactly as described. The specific market rules determine how a bet is treated when an event is postponed, abandoned, interrupted, rescheduled or changed.

A market may be suspended or removed before, during or after an event. Suspension may occur because of a material development, a technical issue, a data concern, a market review or another operational reason. A suspension does not, by itself, determine whether a bet wins or loses. Settlement takes place under the applicable rules once the necessary result or information is available.

Determining results

Bets are settled using the official result or other settlement source specified for the relevant product. The result may be based on the result declared at the end of the event, a later official decision or another method stated in the market rules. Subsequent changes, appeals, disqualifications or amendments may be treated according to those rules and may affect settlement.

Different products can use different definitions of a result. For example, a market may refer to the result at the end of regular time, a scheduled period, a named stage, a particular competitor or a specified statistical measure. You must read the market description and special conditions before placing a bet. If a selection does not meet the stated definition, the bet may not be a winning bet even if the wider event has a different outcome.

  • A postponed or abandoned event may be settled, voided or carried forward according to the relevant product rules.
  • A dead heat or tied result may be handled under the conditions for that market.
  • A selection may be void where the required participant, event or condition is not present, subject to the product rules.
  • A result may be corrected if it was settled using incorrect information or affected by a technical or obvious error.
  • A bet involving multiple selections may be affected if one selection is void, changed or cannot be settled.

Casino and other products

Where casino, virtual, racing, esports or other wagering products are available, each product may have separate rules covering game operation, rounds, outcomes, interruptions, result sources and settlement. The rules displayed for that product take priority for matters specific to it. Random outcomes, where applicable, are determined by the game system and cannot be changed by a customer after the relevant play has been accepted.

4. Errors, payments and responsible betting

Errors and unusual activity

A technical, clerical, system, pricing, data or other obvious error may affect a displayed market, an accepted bet, a result or an account record. Where an error occurs, PlayCroco may take reasonable steps to correct the record, void an affected transaction, recalculate a settlement or apply another remedy permitted by the applicable terms and law. If you notice an unusual result or account entry, stop using the affected feature and check the account information before continuing.

Attempts to manipulate a market, interfere with the platform, exploit a vulnerability or use automated activity without permission are not permitted. PlayCroco may investigate suspicious activity and may delay, restrict or review transactions while doing so. Information may be handled and disclosed where required for security, legal, compliance or operational purposes.

Balances, deposits and returns

You should only deposit and wager money that you can afford to lose. A successful deposit does not guarantee that a bet will be accepted, and an available balance does not remove any applicable stake, product or account limit. Payment transactions may be subject to verification, processing checks and the conditions of the selected payment method.

Any return from a winning bet is calculated according to the accepted stake, confirmed odds or price and the relevant product rules. A bet may produce no return, a partial return or a different result where a market rule, void condition, dead-heat provision, correction or other settlement condition applies. Account records should be checked regularly, and any concern should be raised through the available support or account process.

Responsible gambling

Betting should be entertainment, not a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you play, decide how much time you will spend and take regular breaks. Avoid chasing losses, increasing stakes to compensate for previous results or betting to manage stress. Results are uncertain, and no strategy can guarantee a win.

  • Set personal deposit, spending or session limits where those tools are available.
  • Use time reminders and take breaks from betting activity.
  • Keep gambling separate from essential household expenses.
  • Do not borrow money or sell possessions to fund betting.
  • Use available time-out, self-exclusion or account restriction options if betting is becoming difficult to control.
  • Seek independent support if gambling is causing financial, personal or emotional harm.

If you are concerned about your gambling, stop placing bets and use the responsible gambling tools available through the service. You may also wish to seek help from an appropriate independent support organisation in Australia. These betting rules are general information only. The Terms and Conditions, product rules and any specific conditions shown when you place a bet form the complete basis for using the service.
